Pleasanton, CA., June 22, 2011 – HPM Networks, today announced it has been recognized by Everything Channel as a part of CRN’s 2011 VAR500 list, which ranks the top technology integrators in North America. Featuring the highest producing technology integrators and solution provider organizations in the IT channel, the VAR500 rankings consider earnings from hardware sales, software sales and managed IT services.
HPM Networks placed #102 in the 17th annual ranking.
The VAR500 is a list of the largest value-added resellers, solution providers and integrators in North America by revenue size. Revenue size is determined by the amount of annual products and services sold over the course of 2010.
The CRN Tech Elite 250 is a new list CRN will be publishing that's similar to the VAR500 and Fast Growth 100. This is the definitive list of VARs with deep technical expertise and premier certifications serving customers in North America. These 250 VARs are best-of breed integrators who have invested in technical know-how and premier/platinum certifications in the areas of data centers and infrastructure.
Methodology: CRN Editors worked with solution providers and outside experts to define the most important technical certifications in the market today. They mapped the certifications against the key technology opportunities as defined by Everything Channel's State of the Market and Midmarket studies. From there, CRN editors built the list based on level and depth of technical certifications within the VAR organization.
The following vendor certifications are part of the CRN Tech Elite: EMC, IBM, Cisco, VMware, Citrix, Microsoft, Dell, HP, Symantec and NetApp.
